Organic Farming Practices

Organic farmers save the byproducts of the coffee cherries and other nitrogen-rich elements, which they then place into their mulch for rich topsoil the following year. This natural fertilizer nourishes a longer, stronger root structure that develops the desired deep, clean coffee taste.

Shade Grown

Entirely shade grown, the canopy shades the coffee trees from too much sun while providing bird habitats and promoting a healthy ecosystem on the farm.

We work with farmers to ensure they are benefiting from their fine quality, with above fair payment for their coffee. Call it fair trade, call it ethical sourcing, call it socially responsible free trade – we just call it the way we do business.
